itSetup is a freeware installation system which works on a similar principle to the Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI). You would create a distribution file, using the itSetup Script Compiler, which contains the installation instructions and files for your product. itSetup therefore needs only to be installed once on a user's computer, and after that many applications can be installed. The size of the distribution file is greatly reduced due to the fact that it doesn't contain the installation program as well as the product installation files.
