Yapi is a new printing / reporting component set. It operates at a “lower level” than most reporting tools, but this gives the programmer greater flexibility, and makes it ideal for where communications have to be carefully controlled (e.g. three tier (Midas) use and Web based applications). It is very good for non-database applications. Yapi is easy to learn and can be used as a "Quick and Easy" printing tool (with a print preview). The Yapi System has been used for all the reports for a Credit Union banking system (SQL Server / 58,000 lines of Delphi), and hasn’t crashed in 12 months continuous multi-user use. Yapi prints everything: Text, Bitmaps, Stringgrids, and Paintboxes. The Screen capture is a Yapi Print preview. Source for this program and others are included as sample code.
