Toadbase is the beginnings of a completely embedded Database system for Delphi that uses Memory Mapped files to control concurrent access. Because MMF are EXTREEMLY fast and thread friendly, Toadbase can really fly. Mutexes keep updates friendly, and transactions are handled via a log file (also a toadbase file). Doesn't work under Win2000 until I add a few lines to handle the new security stuff.. but works under NT4 and Win9x.
