Where can I find a document teaching how to make, step by step, an application with interbase?

For what I know, the interbase components have properties, methods and events similar to the BDE database components, ADO components, or in fact most BDE replacements.

I think one should never design an application that will be tied to a given technology so any well-written documentation about Delphi database development should do.
