Good Luck! You will not find to many free GIS components... that I know of.
There are some shareware ones, but the majority of the good ones are definetely Commercial!
If this helps, please accept as answer!
Thanks!

sercan,
I am not shure exactly what you are trying to do but
I have been looking for way to load ESRI shape files
for searching maps and orthophotos. Some CAD programs
have GIS capability but they are pricy.
I did not know about SGIS but am going to look at it now.

sercan,
try these,
http://www-sul.stanford.edu/depts/gis/web.html
http://data.geocomm.com/
http://www.esri.com/
There is a lot of stuff out there, maps and orthophotos,
and there are many ways to view them with viewers built
for each companies product, but finding an open source
program to actually build GIS files has escaped me so far!
I also found an error in the SGIS software trying to open
the Madrid file.
