what difference between ShowHint and ParentShowHint of DBGrid?

ParentShowHint is like a global controller for the forms components hints. If you place some components on a form and set the ParentShowHint to True, all you have to do is select the parent object (the form, or panel) ShowHint to True and all other components Hints are enabled.

Just like the Parent Font property!

These 2 properties are on most of components... The difference : if ParentShowHint is set to True, the ShowHint property will be set to the parent's ShowHint Property...
