Different dBase III+ file types?

What happend with dBase III+ files?

CA-Clipper 5.2 dBase III+,
Ashton-Tate dBase III+,
Borland Delphi 5 dBase III+ files...

Are they different?

I think that the data file (DBF) is the same but variations exist regarding Memos and Indexes. When I have to manage XBase files, I use Halcyon (www.grifsolu.com). It handles everything perfectly.
