Add to context menu

Hi,

I've the following code to add an entry to the context menu,
Only thing is, this only works on individual files,
so suppose I want to select multiple files, the menu doesn't appear.
Anybody...

Suppose I have a notepad instance open.

Notepad window has a handle,
But for example the text control box is focused, but has a different handle.

eg.. How would I check that an url is valid.

String starts with 'http://'
followed by 'www.' (optional)...

and yes the recursive thing was a mistake, it has been removed... but as I say this doesn't show me the z order.

the key bit about this question is i'm trying to return the FOCUSED control...

You say it's at the top of the z order... so how do I find out which component is at the top of the z order?

and then i should go through each one using EnumChildProc to see if its active. is that right?

Just found this too.. It works out the control at a particular point
wnd := lastactivewindowhandle
d:=ChildWindowFromPoint(wnd,point(350,350)) ;

ps... no sendkey routines.. they are not reliable and one version doesn't support all characters anyway..

that is to say if i try shell execute on the file parsed (e.g. to open it in paint if it was a bmp) it fails to open

In explorer there are 2 menu's that you seem to get
If you rightclick the window in explorer you get the same window (arrange by... view.. etc..)

If you rightclick a file you get a menu...
