The options isnt a modal form, I was thinking that on the onclick event I could change the tag of the button and then iterate through the controls and see what tags indicate what needs to be applied...

Problem solved

Ive rewritten nearly all of my bitmap assignment code to not use a function that returns a Tbitmap.

Thanks for the sugggestions altough i already tried those methods and they caused mem leaks also.
