Since "Assert provides an opportunity to intercept an unexpected condition and halt a program", I'll try Assigned instead, since I do want the program to resume after the error.

Thanks guys. I'll experiment with TPageControl and see how it goes. I was originally looking for a way to show/hide each window, but a tabsheet with other pages disabled might be a good solution.
