Scanner status using DelphiTwain

Hi all,
I'm trying to retrieve the status of the scanner (online, offline and possibly also scanning ed error) -- I'm using DelphiTwain but I did not find a way to get such information.

What I'd like to do is to retrieve the complete list of scanner (productname and producer) and for each the status. The first part has been done, what about the status?
