COMmunication between two apps

Hi everyone.

Looks like delphipages were down for a couple of days. I'm happy to see everything's back again



Say, DDE is history. And looks like I'll have to use COM to establish communication between two apps - one is mine (created in Delphi), and the other one is non-Delphi (C++)

I actually need this kind of communication: send a request to the other application (for e.g. GET_PartnerInfo|4893) and receive a reply in StringList-like format.

How would that look like in COM ? I have no prior experience with it and tutorials circulating around explain all but simple communication between two apps of this kind...

Any suggestion is welcome !
