Default Min Max & Close buttons flicker

I'm using XE4 and Windows 7 64 bit.

On all my projects the min, max & close buttons on the upper right of the title bar flicker when I move the mouse over them. In addition the help popups do not fully display for the min and max buttons, the box is too small.

Does anyone else have these issues?

Thanks, Alan

When we read your question it does not look to be in the correct category.
We cannot see your code of how you have installed your objects.
We cannot mind read sorry.

Default Mind reading is not needed

Hi:

Thanks for your reply.

Like I said this happens for all my Delphi projects. If I start a new project and compile it (ie. I do not add any code or any controls at all) and run it I get this flickering whenever I move my mouse over the min, max and close buttons in the title bar.

I do not see this behavior with any other window only programs created with Delphi.

If I take the exe created above and run it on my laptop I do not see the flickering.

I do not have any 3rd party controls installed and just did the normal installation when it was originally installed.

Very strange...

Alan

All delphi Visual objects have MouseMoveOver event, so when the mouse moves over an object the processor may be redrawing the object.
I know with older versions of Delphi you can debug your TForm object with a breakpoint. You may be finding a bug in Delphi but this seems strange as XE simply replaces 32 bit addresses and messages for 64 bit so the code needs very little change. Does that help you.

Default More flickering

I'll look into that.

I just noticed that the flickering is also occurring on the IDE window.

Thanks, Alan
