Yes, you can, I was trying to help out due to the coding
envolved in doing what you want. Seeing as I don't have the
time to code it for you, I was offering other suggstions.

I have the sourcecode to Plasmatech's ShellControl Pack at
home. I will take a look at it tonight and try to work
something up for you by tomorrow.

I was unable to get to the Plasmatech solution last night
due to child problems. I will try to work on it tonight.

On the other hand, are you really sure you want both
directories AND files in a Listview? It seems that a
Treeview would be more appropriate.

While searching around for some info, I found something
that you may be interested in...

TShellTree v.1.11 By Jan Peter Stotz.
TShellTree is an exact copy of of the Explorer's left pane.
Features: Userdefined Root (Pathes and System-Elements),
Browsing and masking files, automatic Tree-update... Free
for non-commercial use.

Fully functional
Source: Included
Price: $30
Exe-demo included

Download: http://www.torry.net/vcl/lbcb/filerelatedcontrols/shelltre.zip

To make it show FILES, set TF_NONFOLDERS Option to True.
This really makes the app slow down, however due to it
needing to build the tree.

I'd stick to a listview for the files, if I were you.
