Default D7, XPManifest and Labels bug

Hi

I have a problem which I have researched heavily on the net but have not been able to resolve.

I have a scrollbox with labels and a xpmanifest comp. When I run the app the labels disappear. I used a suggested workaround of placing a panel(alClient) between the label and the scrollbox but this now means that the horizontal scrollbar doesnt show when the label is long.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try using TStaticText components instead of TLabels, they are very similar, but implement Windows, like Panels do.

Hi

I need OnMouseEnter and OnMouseLeave events that the StaticText does not have.

Thanks

You can derive your own custom component from the TStaticText class. I remember that in Delphi 5, the TLabel component didn't initally have these events, you had to make your own version. I know I have it somewhere, I'll look it up for you.
