Default Query1.SQL.Text length

Hi

How do I know how many characters can I put in Query1.Sql.Text?

I think the only restriction might be the amount of RAM in your or the database server machine.

You will more than likely be limited by the length of your life or the capabilities of your system than the number of characters the SQL property will hold.

SQL is a TStrings type. See Delphi help under TStrings.
TStrings has a text property which is a string type. Check help for string types.
I think you can put about 2^31 characters or about 2.147 billion. Hopefully that's enough to create the query you need.
