Default Beginner for Delphi Nework!

Hello,

I work in Delphi 6 a few years.
Now I was beginning in Delphi network and I need some source code
For following things:
I want make chat application which to have two peer to peer clients
But I donít know how I to measure time for two clients and show it on both
Screens.
In some application I want to have value who accounting number of sending of both clients
Generally does it exist variable which is mutual for both clients?!
Can somebody to send me source code of this kind?!

Are you doing Delphi.NET or Delphi win32 ???

For delphi 32 there's a sample available in the samples directory...

I really have no clue on what you're doing... The construction of the sentences is so weird that I cannot make any chocolate from it...

But your clients communicate through a central server. So basically you can have the server act as the global memory buffer and send the data to all (in your case 2) clients...
But again, not sure what you're trying to achieve...

Dear M-r Norrit,

Sorry for my English. I thing you to find out of my intention after read following text:


Iím a author of the computer game ďPoppy and RoseĒ which I programmed it in Delphi 6. I think that the game will attract more attention if it is played in a network between two players. But because Iím not professional programmer, and because of my age (Iím 51 year old) I just cannot make that. This is why I need help, and when I mean help I mean a source code of some kind (in Delphi 6) with these segments:

- A segment in which a connection is made between two players that should be in a peer to peer base, but one of them would act like a server and the other will be a client that will connect to the server;

- A segment that will initiate that the two players have the same time;

- A segment in which the two players transfer data between them;

- A segment where is formed a joined table of results.

Can I find a source code with this attributes, maybe from some other simple video game?
