Default How can I make a Delphi app to close other apps?

You know, like those anti-popup programs closes new browser windows.

The user before me in this thread has provided you with information that answers your question. This is simply just another approch.

function TMainForm.CloseApp(AppName: pchar): boolean;
var AppHandle:THandle;
begin
AppHandle:=FindWindow(NIL, AppName);
if AppHandle<>0 then
Result:=PostMessage(AppHandle, WM_QUIT, 0, 0)
else Result:=false;
end;


To close a Notepad with an empty document for example, we have to call the function:

if not CloseApp('Untitled - Notepad') then
ShowMessage('Application not closed!');
