Default Error - implicitly imported into package

I have 2 units - main unit and support unit 2000 to 1500 lines long.
The main unit has
Uses Windows, ....... SupportUnit;
that is the only link between both files.

I get error unit 'SupportUnit' implicitly imported into package 'dclucr'
when I compile.
Whats type of code really causing the error.

Isn't this a warning?

To resolve:
http://docs.embarcadero.com/products...mport_xml.html

If it's throwing an error it might be because of a compiler setting option (D2009 and up):
Navigate to 'Project -> Options - > Delphi Compiler -> Hints and Warnings' and change the value of 'as errors' to 'Output Warnings'

Delphi 7 dose not have that option

I have registered the object
procedure register;
begin
RegisterComponents('System', [TMyObject]);
end;

but I do not understand the "contains" statement
can contains force out the problem some how.

I would try the solutions from here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8...lphi-6-package

I don't have the older delphi versions anymore

This free ware thing is a little complicated
It will take me time to master it

I have tried combining both files to a super large file
And it complies with no errors but the object will not appear registered
in the toolbar for some reason. I have not had this issue before.

I may reload Delphi into windows as something must be up setting the Delphi install I guess.
