Default DELPHI/KYLIX Client/Server Database!??

I'm trying to create a database but not success under linux using kylix i was wondering if any of you could provide me with tutorials or guides on creating a client/server database under any of these two environments(win/linux) i'll would like to create one-to-many relationships database so all my clients can access on single database!

Use Interbase, it is supported on both Linux and Windows and
uses same file format.

The free version is called Firebird.

Default Firebird or Interbase!??

Firebird looks good! but delphi 7 already
comes with a version of Interbase 6.5 and
i want to learn to use it! any tutorials or
guides out there that u u know of!??

There is a help file included with the Interbase instal.
Ther should also be some sample programs in the demos folder.
