Default Additional printer properties

We have a stapler-unit attached to our HP4250, but i can't seem to set it up right (through code) to enable the stapler. The trick is to use the default printer settings dialog to get to correct settings. Once i have stored those in code, i can set up the printer, without displaying the properties dialog.

Now, i can't seem to get the stapler setting, since it isn't part of DEVMODE and i cannot find differences between the DEVMODEs of printing with and without the stapler.
The printer is set (by default) not to use the stapler.

I've been breaking my head over this all day, and i can't figure it out! If anyone has a solution, i'd be most grateful.

Since this *is* and HP, does it have PCL to enable the
stapler? If it does, you can send PCL directly to the
printer using Joe Hecht's PrintRaw function found on the
newsgroups. Hooking into the PropertySheet for this
printer may be more problemtaic.

I HAVE been going over the PCL actually, but all i could find on staplers was some stapler/stacker option for another printer: i tried it, but it didn't work.

for now, we've just set the printer to staple by default, and don't let any other documents be printed on it. It's only to be used for our order forms, that come in triplets (white/yellow/pink). But i rather have it resolved, so i donot have to rely on default settings.

If it were me, I'd contact HP suoort forums and ask there.
There are tons of people there that may be better able to
answer this question.
