Default Update DBGrid

Hi

I want to update the current row of the DBGrid.
How can I do that?
I don't want to do
[DELPHI]
DBGrid1.Datasource.Dataset.Active := FALSE;
DBGrid1.Datasource.Dataset.Active := TRUE;
[/DELPHI]
because the query is very big and takes some time.

I just want to get the new values that are on the database.

I'm using TADOQuery.

Thanks
Sam

Default RE: Update DBGrid

What database are your using?

I dont think you can refresh a single row of DBGrid, atleast not at that component's level.

Maybe you can use Fetch clause of the SQL to fetch only 10 or 20 records per fetch to minimize the response time.

Also there is a properly called "AutoRefresh" for TQuery and such components, which might be of use to you.
