Default Check if popupmenu is visible

What's the simplest way to check if a popupmenu is currently showing or not. Basically I want to do something like this :-

if popupmenu1.visible<>true then
...

That seems to return True when it isn't visible.

But the following code sample should work ... Now your application receives the messages and you can determine the state of the popupmenu ...
