Default How to create an animated button... ?

I want to create a button component. When the MouseEnter-Event is executed, it should draw an animation with several steps, but, if the mouse goes off the button while it animates, it should go back from the actual point, not from the beginning.

I hope you understand my question and can help me, because I don't know, how to do. Should I use a timer, or what?

Gru"z,
Obeliks

Be sure to read the license agreement ... ;o)

I thought that reading the source of the animated components would give you hints of how to solve your problem ...

Check out http://www.delphi32.com/vcl/lists/sc_n_5.asp

There you will find Several Button Style Components ...

Some of them are animated and with source ... )

You may find further help there ...
