Hello,

* Before you should set the BDE variable LOCALSHARE to TRUE form BDE administrator, configuration tab, system branch, INIT subbranch.

* Set up a sharing on db source directory and map a same driver name for every network map

* Set BDE aliases on every machine to this mapping except main machine

* Set a NET dir as a shared direc also and set every NET DIR value to same location
(It on the configuration->driver ->native->paradox )

for extra questions you can send a mail me to ogultekin@intersol.com.tr

Good Luck.

As I have been told, and it appears true. The BDE paths (for Database Alias name and NetDir path) MUST all be identical, character for character. The easiest way to do this is to use UNC Names. You must, of course, share out the folders on the PC containing the database and use the share name in the path. Thus the same idapi32.cfg file could be copied to all machines.
