Default Changing disabled color of TComboBox

I want to change the disabled color of TComboBox. When I put a form into readmode I want all the controls to have the same looks. TEdit for instance has a read-only property and the color can easily be changed. But TComboBox lacks such a property.

I tried to use the Windows SDK help. But no results.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem.

Err ... can you explain what you are doing ?

If you set the Color Property of a TCombobox, it will have this color Enabled and Disabled.

Windows will always repaint with the default color specified in TComboBox.

To do this I think you have to create your own TCustomComboBox with some OwnerDraw Events ...

Not sure tho' ...
