Reiners solution actually misses the FindClose which means you will have a resource leak...

check this routine... it also lists folders recursively...

Hope this helps,

Hi, i tested the code of both of you, both codes where great...

What i want really is , well i have this ftp client
On this i use a DirectoryListBox and a fileListbox to display my local files..

What i would like is to display the folders and the files in the same control, that works with mrbaseballs code..

if you take a look at my screenshot at http://hanniballs.net
you will see what i mean, look at the left side there, you'll see what i mean right away. whats on the left side is what i need to replace..
is MRBaseballs code the easyast code to acheive this ?

If so, i only have one problem, i'm now able to display my system icons without problem, but howdo i display Folder icons in the very same listview..

I think I'm going to ask Douglas to make it where you can give more than one person a share of the point. In this
case, GoodFun gets 1/2 and MB34 gets 1/2!!!

Yes i agree. Actually that happends very often that more than one should have a point ...

But, regarding my last question, i do not wish to use the component that GoodFun are mentioning in the thread you refer to, simply because that component comes with a nag screen, and to make that nag screen desapair i need to pay 39 US dollars who i don't want to do, i'm pretty sure i can be able to do it with a listview.,.,
