Default RE: Question about components (Gauge, ListView)

Check out VirtualTreeView and ElTree, they both can have controls in their cells...

you can get Virtual TreeView at
http://www.delphi-gems.com/VirtualTreeview/VT.php

and TElTree from
http://www.eldos.org/elpack/eltree.html

There is a Lite version of TElTree at
http://www.eldos.org/files/eltreelite.zip

VirtualTreeView is a bit more powerful than ElTree and is free where as the full version of ElTree comes at a charge. The free version of ElTree can do the things you want though too, you might have to do some modifications though...

check them out.

Hope this helps,

Marcel

Default RE: Question about components (Gauge, ListView)

You don't need insert a gauge into every item in listview. It will take a lot of resources (memory and GDI).

Instead you must draw a rectangle in cell in custom-drawing mode. See OnCustomDrawItem and OnCustomDrawSubItem events.

I solved a task (similar to yours) in same manner and it work very well.
