ANN: LMD-Tools 8.02 released (VCL Win32/.NET, Freeware + Full versions


Version 8.02 of LMD-Tools is available now (VCL Win32 and VCL.NET). A new release of the freeware version (LMD-Tools SE) can be found in public download area on our web site as well.

Description
LMD-Tools 8.X is a collection of up to 426 native VCL components that can be compiled into your application royalty free, and without the need of additional files for distribution. Buttons, Dialogs, Multimedia, System, Data-aware, Container, Standard, Label, and Extended controls will allow the developer to produce professional applications, quicker and easier than ever before.

If you are looking for enhanced functionality of existing components in the VCL, or just want to add that personal touch to your application, LMD Tools has a solution to fit you. And it ships with a vast array of sample projects and demos for all of the components found in the package.

New features in release 8 are (among others):
* Up to 30 new controls in LMD-Tools CE!
* Complete new common LMD 2007 Runtime (shared with LMD ElPack 6 and LMD IDE-Tools). Check the LMD 2007 Package Structure for more info:

* Support of Vista features - even in IDEs before Delphi/C++ 2007! Including updated TLMDTaskDialog (now with HTML and Unicode support) - use vista style dialogs even on non-Vista systems!
* New theme engine! Use any standard .MSStyles file to apply themes/skinning to you applications. Note: Use of ThemeEngine is fully optional. Sourcecode user can switch off themes support with one compiler switch.
* Unicode support for several controls, unicode routines in shared runtime, Form Wizard for generating forms with unicode enabled captions.
* New native, unicode enabled RegExpression engine
* New native PNG support!
* New native XML engine
* New native ZLIB support (no use of C++ object files!)
* New Cab-files compression support
* New TLMDBitmap class which allows loading of JPEG, GIF and other image formats without need of additional supporter files.
* New HTML Renderer engine with image/link support
* New LMD ChartPack package for LMD-Tools CE user!
* New TLMDMLGen component for template generated data output
* Updated standalone packages: E.g. LMD ScriptPack and LMD DesignPack in updated versions with many new features (e.g. Unicode support)!
* And many other new features along with minor enhancements like updated container component editors, new TLMDGraphicList editor, enhancements to existing controls etc.

Supported IDEs are Delphi 5 - 8, 2005, CBuilder 5+6, BDS 2006 (including Turbo versions) and CRS 2007. VCL.NET compatible packages are available.
Besides that each LMD-Tools license covers LMD-Tools 3.5/5.X license as well (supporting all previous Delphi and CBuilder versions).
