      Software Engineer Specialist

·         Heavily using DLLs.

·         Design and Development and Support for Fund and Retirement software known as Pension Gold.

·         Design and Development and Support for imaging software. Optika, Stellent7x, and Oracle IBPM 10x [Imaging Business Project Management].

·         Converted client from using File Net to LRS-PCX file manager software tools.

·         Design and Development and Support for Web Member Services [WMS] using Delphi CGI.

·         Design and Development and Support for Web Employer Reporting Services [ERS] using Delphi CGI.

·         Created and maintained Conference Manager Software for LRS Teaming Conference. I am in charge of data entries to track conference activities and scores which I created for a scoring tool.

·         Updated IRS 1099 Nelco files and Neclo.RES file to be used by our applications. The Nelco.RES file was updated using MS Visual Studio 2005.

o        All 1099 printing is done using HP PCL.

·         Created a simple Security lockout method. Lock will depend on user defined number of trials and it will last by certain user defined minutes.

·         Created a Call Center/Contact Center screen that gathers data from various screens and shows to the operator.

·         Created a personal light tool [Batch CR] that will allow me to take actions quickly when working with complex daily work. Any steps that are repeatable are added to this application.

·         Updated an older version of Top Grid to allow for title to wrap column text.

·         Created a command line interface to integrate current imaging software with Pension Gold Case Flow.

·         Updated a Delphi wrapper to allow Delphi5 to open a CHM help.

·         Trained new comers and co-workers on coding and business rules.

·         Weekly writing SQL scripts for MS and Oracle clients, from the simple update to complex as migation.

·         All documentation warehousing is done using Starteam [5.0, 2009].

Lead Software Designer/Implementer

·         Collected specifications from users and QA team, designed, developed, tested, documented, deployed and supported various applications:

o        Provider Locator Application using Delphi 7 client and MS SQL2000. Built my own documents library and context sensitive help using Front Page.  Application was a re-write to a mainframe process.

o        Orthodontic Subsequent Payments Application using Delphi 7 client and MS SQL2000. Application was a re-write to a mainframe process. Built my own documents library and context sensitive help using Front Page.

o        Claims Reader for General Motors accountant to view claims in a user friendly format, Using Delphi 7 client and ADO text files.

o        Task Reader to monitor SQL Server jobs and log files created by other applications. It is able to read failed jobs or search log files for a specific message and send e-mail to the corresponding user on the list.

o        Security Control application to allow a security officer to monitor and edit SQL accounts. On the SQL server side, I created my own SQL Server security using XP-Cmdshell and a Delphi client.

o        Application Scheduler using Delphi and a text file to mimic Windows Job Schedulers in a much simpler form.

o        Report Mail application to create a list of all claims per provider and generate a TIF file. It will copy the files into a UNIX server where it gets processed and e-mailed.

o        Ownership Module to allow the users as well the managers to control users work per module, screen, and fields.

o        Auto Updater using Delphi 7 and an INI file to allow any application to automatically update itself.

·         Modified, upgraded, tested and documented a Report Viewer application. Built using Delphi 7, text files and MS Access database.

·         Supported all in-house MS Access Database, MS Excel and a variety of light applications.

·         Modified and created Delphi Components.

What about me?

I love writing client/server applications. In the past 20 years I have written over 6000 procedures, 2000 tables, 1000 views, and 500 triggers. And post MSSQL 2000, I have written many functions and few XPs. Before DML was on the radar, I always pride myself to take the project from start to end and to document and flowchart the work right down to the smallest data type. I shine more in rewrites. All my years of experience involved me upgrading a company. Along the way I learned many techniques and developed many of my own. I do not wait to be told that something needs to change, I take initiative. I have lack of tolerance for incompetence. I strongly believe that each team member must be accountable to keep up with the general learning pace of the team. I am honest, very honest, and I can deliver. I can safely say that I can develop as well as manage, I have done it!
